Rats! I got my new rear brake cylinders to replace mine that were a little too far gone to rebuild, and the new ones didn't fit! It seems Moss is getting reproductions made by TRW. The ends of the pistons were a little different, but the biggie is that the roll pin that's supposed to keep the thing aligned on the back plate was a good 1/16" off from where it's supposed to be. A little work with some pliers to remove the pin, and it seems to work fine. I think I might be letting Moss know somebody needs to take a closer look at them. I can even send them some originals.
Only snafu on my part was getting it all back together, refilled, and bled, and THEN seeing the two spring washers I forgot to put under the circlips. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/blush.gif So that's why they seemed a bit loose. Darn, no way to slip those in without opening the lines again. Oh well, it's all good now, and no more leaks /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/driving.gif. Those lines probably needed a second bleeding anyway, right?
