In order to maintain a good electrical ground over time, you should scrape away all paint/primer down to bare metal around the hole where the grounding lug will touch the body when screwed in. Then install a star washer between the grounding lug of the harness and the body. Do this at every location where the harness is grounded. After fastening these ground lugs down in this manner, you can " paint " over the lug/screw. This will slow down the corrosion process as much as possible.
