I have actually considered racing the Vauxhall. At this point it is both too rare and in too good a shape. At the same time it is highly unlikely that racing will ever be anything but a dream. I do have a think for Eastern Bloc cars and bikes though. Sheesh.

Vauxhall is far from eastern block, what you really want is a FSO Polonez or the Lada Niva, which by the way is a wonderful 4x4, but to bring the obscure back home, try a Korando.

In terms of distance from Vauxhall, there are some who would say that the British Car Industry in the 70's was not far from Eastern Bloc.
