I have actually considered racing the Vauxhall. At this point it is both too rare and in too good a shape. At the same time it is highly unlikely that racing will ever be anything but a dream. I do have a think for Eastern Bloc cars and bikes though. Sheesh. :wall:

Would take amTrabbie though you caught me on that one, wouldn't be highon the list. Still shoulda bought the mint Skoda 120 for $800 when I had then chsnce. a friends has a Lada Niva ( and a Trabbie and a DNEPR. Now a Tatra....

Interesting cars - I had seen the FSO Polonez before but not the Korando. They brought Niva's into Canada - and a friend has one. There are always some for sale but I dare not look! :jester:

In terms of distance from Vauxhall, there are some who would say that the British Car Industry in the 70's was not far from Eastern Bloc. :devilgrin:
