TR2/3/3A Handy Man TR3A

Oooh, I did enjoy that.

Those kids remind of something my Grandmother used to say: "If you want to look common, chew gum".

Lip sync-ing needs work!

Fun, nonetheless - thanks for the link!

What a great video; too bad there's some singing guy in the way!

Wrigley's must have been a sponsor that day, and gave a sample of Juicy Fruit to everybody as they came in
Yeah, his lip-sync was as bad as Britney's. Not exactly what we've come to expect from HD today, either. Funny how it seemed so cool and clear back then when that was all we got. And black-and-white, no less....

So glad someone found this! I was falling asleep in front of the TV several weeks ago and woke up to one of those Time-Life infomercials. Still half asleep, I swore I saw someone singing in front of a TR3, but I seem to recall at that moment it was only background video while the announcer was babbling on about all the songs in the collection.

I wonder what show this was taken from, and whether Triumph might have been a sponsor, or ????

It's a shame that maybe two kids in the crowd even noticed the star of the show.

Dick Clark's, American Bandstand. TR3A compliments of Buzz Marcus Triumph - Glenside, PA. Buzz not only owned and operated a very successful TR dealership. He was an accomplished SCCA racer. I believe he is still active (in his late 60's) in Florida.

Thanks for that; I had a feeling it must have been something like "Bandstand"! Of course, the librarian in me is always a bit bothered NOT to see things properly credited, especially on YouTube and similar web sites.
