Hi All,
I have been talking with Paul Tsukuris of Lakeland, FL about possibly producing a small production run of a modified throttle linkage set-up that he engineered several years ago for his personal car. For those of you who don't know Paul, he is one of the top Healey specialists in the US and does impeccable restoration work. His design replaces the OEM plastic (front) and rubber (rear) bushings with mild steal and a bearing (front) and brass and bearing (rear). It accepts the original linkage and mounts in the same manor as the OEM bushings. Paul has been running this design on his car for several years now with no problems at all and is convinced that this is a far superior design compared to the original. I do not have a price for this conversion set as of yet, but he told me that because of set up time, etc. it would be cheaper per set to make several sets then to do just one. So, just thought I would put it out there to see if anyone was interested. If you are please let me know in an e-mail off list, so I can tell Paul how many sets are needed and talk with him about final price per set. My e-mail is unionjackrestorations@earthlink.net
Thanks,
