Overdrive Throttle Switch

Hello everyone, I have a little beginner's question. We reversed the mass to minus. Do I now also have to change W1 and W2 on the Overdrive Throttle?

When I work from the circuit diagram, I always have a short circuit as soon as I screw the switch to the metal (ground on switch). What's wrong there? (Sorry for my English, thanks to Google.) LG suissi

Hi Suissi, By 'reversed the mass' I'm guessing you switched your car's polarity, likely from positive ground to negative. The O/D throttle switch is just a set of points opened and closed by a cam driven by throttle position, polarity shouldn't make a difference. Would you perhaps be referring to the O/D relay?

Thanks for the answer. Yes, we changed car's polarity. I've measured everything. Whenever I mount the OD Throotle Switch on the wall of the car and press the linkage on the dashboard, does the 10Amp fuse blow? If I don't wall mount the OD Switch (connected to ground) does everything work? Do I have to isolate the OD switch or should this work otherwise? Sorry again for my translation program

Edit:
The relay is wired as on the plan C1= fuse box; Switch; C2= OD Throttle Switch;ball switch, solenoid; W1=cable ground-; W2=Dashboard Switch;OD Throttle Switch

Have now found a different scheme that the connections W1 and W2 are swapped? Which scheme is correct?

The W1 and W2 connections that you've circled are on the overdrive relay, not the throttle switch. The overdrive relay just has four electrical connections. The throttle switch has two electrical connections and a lever arm with a rod that attaches to the throttle linkage.

The wire connected to W2 should be black and the other end should be next to the voltage regulator - attached to the firewall with some other ground wires. There are two wires connected to W2 - one goes to the throttle switch on the firewall and one goes to the overdrive on/off switch on the dash. The two wires should be white with purple tracer.
