Now I wonder how long before you do it again, Jack. With all your experience you should have made a video so we can all see how expertly you can pull and reinstall that engine.

I want to see the time-lapse of Jack's engine out and back in again.

Even better, I'll fly him out here next time I need to do it.

It is really easy guys when you have a clean car and engine. Hands never get dirty and all the bolts and such just turn right out with no problems.

It is the stuff that has not been touched in 50 years that slows ya down.

Back in my youth (in the 70s), I replaced the BE transmission twice, by myself (with help to remove and install the bonnet) in less than 8 hours. Now we're going on for a year and the engine/trans is out, but not back in....

Want to come visit Calgary for a few hours Jack?

Engine in about 2 this afternoon. Been driveing, without bonnett of course, no problems. Tranny smooth and nice, no leakes, need to bleed clutch.

Got a bit of messing tomorrow, bleed clutch, check all fluids, check again for oil leaks, clean floor, clean up work bench, you know stuff.
