As I'm installing the manifolds on my 66 BJ8, I notice that Moss calls for one capillary pipe clip, near the rear of the engine, apparently fixed to an intake stud (part no. 725-025). The Mechanical Service Parts List specifies two of these clips (part no. AHB 5397),calling them clip retainers. British Car Specialists list the clips, which are springtype clips that don't look like the Moss or Healey illustrations. None were present when I disassembled the car, though there is a clip, like the one shown by BCS, on the rear heater return pipe mounting bracket. Does anyone have a good picture you would be kind enough to post that at least shows where these puppies go? I can fabricate the bracket if anyone might have some some dimensions. Thanks in advance.
