im stripping/cleaning the engine compartment on the bj7 for paint, new elec. harness, clips/fasteners etc. before reinstalling the rebuilt engine that's been on the dyno for three weeks now and i wont go into it here cuz Thursday or Friday you all get to see me on CNN. in handcuffs being led by several tall men ill be the one with the blood smears all over me ah no it wont be my blood, anywho, while removing the break fluid canister dual resivure type the inboard "adaptor" spun i did get the line off but while cleaning it up i noticed the two adaptor fittings are soldered to the bottom of the can, seems strange to me because there are rubber seals inside the can just about totally disintigrated between the nut and the bottom of the can, and the rubber rings/seals show up on the moss parts diagram, i dont have access to another one to inspect so my question is.. does anyone know if their can fittings are also soldered or might this be something a p.o. had done to seal a leak? thanks, Anthony 7777.
