Tried that with the intertube trick. It bleed the short line to the front passanger side but there was a leak where the tube comes out of that brass three way thing to the front wheel.

Have not stoped leak as yet, leaking around the tube from inside the nut of course. No joy at any other bleed valves. Maybe that tube, flare end is not seated square. Shrug.

Not sure where I go from here, think a nap. Durn it is nasty out.

Ok, after thinking about this leak, do you supose I can use an extra bleed nipple in this connection to block it off so I can look at the fitting as well as proceed with the bleeding??

Because of the leak it did not seem to work at all to the other cylinders.

An extra bleed valve, nipple, seems to work well, at least it stoped the leak. Too darn cold out there.

Now you all look through your junk bins or at least think if you have this pipe from the junction to the passanger side wheel. Will be a few days till I get it removed but just may need another and I do not have one.

Did not seep or weep overnite so it seems the three way should be good.

After sleeping on this little setback I think the tube may have been bent to one side a bit when going into the seat. It is very short and very stiff. Think I will look at that further and see what I can do. The bottom of the bubble flare looks smooth and fine. Will check with a glass later today just to see if it is cracked.

Just as an aside... shouldn't you start by bleeding the longest line first?

Jack,

As you are probably aware <s>the line should be fairly square when tightening.</s> I think that you will get it straintened out without replacing it.

Of course, long line first, but the leak caused the short line to do its thing. I just supose that the leak kept the fluid from going to the rear pass side which was open as it was easier to go to the front pass side.

Was afraid to put a whole lot of pressure on the intertube system for fear I would have fluid all over if I had a leak or a breach of my pressure system.

Will try again when I get a chance.
