I just purchased a 1974 MGB (project car) and according to the manual to check the transmission fluid level there should be a dip stick behind the radio in the tunnel.
(I have a Healey so I know what they are trying to tell me)
However I can find a hole in the tunnel itself but not evidence of a dip stick in the transmission. There is no hole where it should go as far as I can tell. There is however a bolt on the side of the transmission similar to a lot of older US vehicles where it looks like I can check the level at this point. Does this make sense ??
