Now that I've got the steering wheel off ( or will have, when I go to pick up the steering column from the machine shop on Monday) I'm looking at a few aftermarket steering wheels.
My concern is the thickness of some of these hub adapters. I've had Grant's and Lecarra steering wheels in the past and these things had big honkin hubs that extended the steering wheel several inches from the columb. As we all know, there is not much room in our vehicles and I sure don't want a 4" thick spacer extending the steering wheel out farther away from the column.
Any pics of aftermarket steering wheels or any info on hub thicknesses for aftermarket wheels would be great.
Also, do the early model OEM steering wheels fit on late models?
