I was rebuilding the front end when I noticed that there was a crack on the frame at the fulcrum pin bracket(about 3/8"wide x 1/4" high).I figured the wheel had been hit hard at some point and the alignment would be out. I decided to attempt a repair since it looked like the the bracket was forced up opening up the crack. I took an angle grinder and cut along both sides of the bracket to enable me to push the bracket down into position. I've reached the point where I need to push the fulcrum pin and the bracket down about a 1/4". Does anyone have an idea of the best way to do this? I'm thinking a lot of force will be required to Hammer?...Bend the pin back into position. Would be a lot easier if the body and motor were off the frame of course. Also anyone know the typical distance from the bottom of the fulcrum pin to the frame. I can mail pics to anyone who wants to respond by email as the file pics are too big to send to this server.
