A bit of history

Was checking things out very close yesterday afternoon. See that I still need to bleed brakes again, sigh.

Needed a tail pipe clamp, thought about that for awile and bingo, I have one in my tool box.

It is a home made one. looks just like a new one. Came from my 1960 Bugeye that I sold in 1966.

About 1964 I needed a new muffler and my neighbor whose work area was about 15 feet from mine. He was a night welder at one of the Hawaii sugar plantations said heck I can make you one that will never rot out. He did and also threw in some clamps he made at the time as well. He also made a tail pipe out of boiler copper tube for that car.

So Miss Agatha has bits from both of my previous Bugeyes that I just happened to find in my stuff.

Something old, something new, something borrowed, and lots of shinny bits. LOL

Jack, the blue part will be the blue ribbon on her nose at the first show!!! What do you need washers for when you can reach most of the windshield reaching over the frame and wiping with a rag!!! Love the fact that you are using parts from "bugeyes gone bye"...continuity!!
