a bit more progress for me too

So, I got home today from spending some quality time with the in-laws...... and decided to start with swapping out the sending unit that I got from Tony and had Kim rebuild. (Thanks fellas!)

Gauge works great so far!! It did last time as well until I ran the car for a few minutes and the gauge blew! I guess we will see. I need a bit more 1/4" braided line for the fuel regulator that I am installing. Should be able to fire her up again tomorrow night. After all is checked out and nothing is leaking fuel, hopefully I can rebleed the brakes and get that issue sorted.

I'll let y'all know about the fuel gauge tomorrow.

Well, got all the rubber lines converted to braided and installed my fuel regulator. I don't like the bracket that I made for it, so I will have to ask a friend to make one for me at his work.

I was able to start the car and run it a bit watching the new fuel gauge set up. Hey Kim, it works great!

Hopefully I can bleed the brakes and take her for another drive this weekend. I will have to stop and fill her up and see how the gauge works during the drive. I sure hope it works out this time!

Barry - glad the sending unit still works! It was working when I pulled it out of the tank & bet its even better now that Kim's redone it!
