Bleeding clutch!

All the talk recently on bleeding the brakes etc. I had an interesting little problem over the week end, the clutch started to fail. I diagnosed a problem with the hydraulics in my mind and set to work with the one man bleed system that I had recently described.

Sure enough, there was very little fluid and lots of air. All appears fine now, but where did the air come from? Ideas on a post card please !
I had refurbed both master and slave cylinders about 8 years ago, but must confess to doing nothing else in the intervening time.

There is no sign of leakage anywhere. :wall:
