Well, my fuel delivery problem was not he pump but the pick up in the tank.. So I pulled it off and ran a stiff wire chucked into a drill into the line into the tank and got it to go all the way in pulled out and I could now blow into the line with less resistance.. Soo if it improved with one roto rooter two would be better right. Ran it in again and **** it the wire didn't snap half way down the tube... Now it is for sure stopped up...
Question is,, this is the same tank as on my 77 except that the pickup is made onto the tank instead of on the sending unit, I was thinking I could use the later sending unit with the pickup tube and not have to buy a new tank...I know for sure that the retainer ring and seal are the same but will this work????
