69k miles, one owner before me. Great driver, starts easily, excellent oil pressure, no taps/knocks. Usual British car oil leaks. New redline oils in drivetrain. Nice, complete example of a late 'B. Has minor rust behind/below the wheels, structural channels are fine, floors solid, battery area solid, bulkheads solid, spring mounts solid. Paint is OK, some sap spots, etc. as the car sat for a while. New alternator, fan motor, hoses, plugs, wires, seat belts, dash cap, fabric tailored seat covers, etc. All gauges, clock, switches and controls, interior lights, etc. work. New cheap radio. New Hankook 185/14 tires, trim. Shocks good, front bushings will need attention over the next few years. Brakes good. Most original emissions plumbing in place.
Ok soft top w/ decent window, OE hardtop (needs door seals) and tonneau.
Good candidate for a spruce up or just drive for a few years and tackle it one Winter. Easy first hobby car.
I bought this from a local elderly gentleman, the first owner, as a fun driver (decided my TR6 is too original/nice for running errands, etc., due to some close calls probably from the small brake lights and no CHMSL), but another fun car opportunity dropped in my lap. Need barn space.
Ask any questions. Car is in central Mass.
