A little info here guys... I bought a tube shock conversion off of E bay listed for MGB's only ( the vendor himself was unaware that they would fit a MGA)
Anyway, they fit perfectly, and the total setup was less than $100... what I do like as well, In a future date in can interchange a number of different tube shocks over the Monroes that came with the kit..
Its an easy fix... EXCEPT...you need to remove the spring u bolts...and if your MGA may be like mine, where they have been untouched for 40+ years, even with all kinds of heat to loosen them up, I snapped two of them..
so make sure you have additions spring u bolts on hand for back up...
(fiortuanately I went up into the rafters of my garage and dug around the miscellaneous piles of junk that have been there for 20 years... and there they were... spring u bolts from a long ago dis-assembled MGB!)
Any other questions, just post or PM me... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif
