Spitfire Throttle linksge needed

Here's what I think I need. If anyone knows of a source for these items, new or used, I'd appreciate it. I suppose I should disclose that I plan to use it on my Herald. The pictures are of later Spitfires. First picture (from another forum and from Canley Classics) is the linkage, the second is that same linkage on an engine. Both later (Mark 4) Spits, I think.



I have not found listing for there pieces from the usual suppliers, e.g. Rimmer, Canley, Moss, etc. but I'm not very good at navigating their catalogs.
I think my car came with twin SU's from the factory but with a mickey mouse throttle arrangement that seems to be sticky even with the new and presumably correct cable. I don't know if the bracket arrangement is original or not. I thought I might be able to improve things by bending the bracket but then the lead below the carbs is way off. Picture below.

I'd appreciate any advice and or a source for the bracket arrangement in the first picture above.

The problem is the parts you need never came to this country, so they are going to be difficult to find. I need the same thing and have been looking for years.

Thanks all. I sent and email to Teamtriumph but I don't hold much hope. I've corresponded with Andy Mace about this and he essentially confirmed billspit's comment.
Nice job (and car) Rhodyspit. I think I'll follow your example. It's hard to believe that someone has been kicking the gas pedal every time they needed to idle for 47 years, but I think that's the case.

I emailed the Spitfire Graveyard in the mother country the other day and the response was that their linkages were all sent to the US for a complete SU conversion sets.

Sounds like if there is any validity to the laws of supply and demand, I couldn't afford it if I found on. I'll start on the fabrication as soon as I get the dash shelf under the battery fixed. (Another story there)

Tom, have you tried Pierce manifolds? I got several odd bits from them.
