Gang,

I realize this is not Spridget, but I had to see how many of you were keep watch on Jim Stabe's progress build of a WAY modified MGB.

Jack Laird started a thread about this on the MGB forum some time back, which I picked up on and was reminded of when I went out to Garage Journal forum recently.

Jim has skills (and guts) beyond anything I could imagine.....He is getting close to the initial tests on his car after over 3 year journey....

You might be interested in keeping watch over the next few weeks or so.....

It is amazing! I am just at the windshield part of the story also.

There is a guy in Europe who basically did the same kind of fabrication with a VW Bus to accomodate a Porsche 968 engine.

I ran through the build in a hurry a couple of times and missed the bit about forming his own windshield. Will it be GLASS???
