Hey, quick question,
I know all the manuals are adamant about mounting the clutch slave pushrod into the middle hole in the cross shaft. However, my car has an extremely heavy clutch peddle which makes it very difficult to modulate the clutch and engage smoothly. So, last year I moved the mount down to the lower hole with the idea that it would provide more leverage and ease peddle effort. It definitely worked. But, now I just wonder if there is some reason the manuals are so adamant on the middle hole and if I am doing some harm by using the lower hole.
Appreciate your thoughts
