I know this has been discussed before but I couldn't find it.
I am putting the clutch master cylinder back in the car after paint. I have the push rod at the throw out bearing arm in the top hole. Which hole does the rod from the master cylinder go in at the clutch pedal. If I put it in the 2nd hole from the firewall the clutch pedal is too high. If I put it in the 1st hole from the firewall the clutch is about the right height but I don't know if the travel at the slave cylinder is enough.
I guess I need to know how far the rod should move at the throw out bearing arm.
