71 GT with 72 type dash and console. Choke broke the other day - broke 1/2 way down solid shaft behind T handle (behind dash) so nothing to grab on to for pulling old cable, was going to just replace cable w/o outer sheath but cable is fouled up inside sheath.so I can't push or pull cable out of sheath. (GGGRRR) Went to disconnect cable sheath from back of dash only to find that it is not reachable at all from drivers side, from pass side i can see it, touch it, but not get at it with a wrench without pulling something else out 1st. Anybody run against this one B4?? Would be a simple job if dash were out of car. My hands are not large so smaller hands isn't the solution. Maybe pulling the speedo? I hate to make a simple thing harder than need be. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Right now the new asembly is in and is working but laying on the floor just doesn't look too professional. If this turns into a real hassle I've toyed with the idea of mounting someplace else and just leaving the old sheath in place. Thanks, jonny G
