Feel free to share that information with all of us. Meanwhile, Standard-Triumph actually did have an automatic gearbox of sorts for the Standard 10 / Triumph 10, cleverly named either "Standrive" or "Triumatic" depending on how the car was badged. Sadly, it was not the most reliable thing and didn't even make it through to the Herald. I mention it only because the Standard 8 and 10 gearbox was essentially the same as that of the Herald and, therefore (albeit with different ratios) the Spitfire! What was neat about the "Standrive" is that it was more or less an automatic clutch, operated with a button on the shift lever, that otherwise kept the rest of the four-speed gearbox. (Coolest of all is that Laycock overdrive was also available in the Standard 10 on either the manual or Standrive gearbox!)
