If I was looking for this bearing and I did not want to purchase an old stock from ebay, then I would buy this one:
SKF bearing
If you make an account there I think the price drops to $85
The FAG you listed was 66 pounds, but in dollars it is like 85 plus shipping.
$18 for a FAG in the US is cheap, but it might be fine from surplus dealer on ebay. If they say it is new production, then likely it is made in China.
SKF will not guarantee it is a genuine SKF unless you buy it from one of their distributors, which Motion is.
SKF has an App for your phone to determine if the SKF bearing you bought is genuine. You open the App, say what size bearing it is, etc, and upload pics of the bearing markings, and any markings on the box. They get back to you in a day or two and let you know. I bought the larger overdrive bearing for the annulus which is an SKF RLS10, very hard to find in a high quality bearing. I got the SKF on ebay in a never opened box, perfect condition, made in Italy. Using the App they responded that it was genuine. I think I paid $25 for it.
There are a lot of good bearings on ebay. If a bearing has seals and is greased inside then I likely would not buy old stock, but the bearings for the gearbox and overdrive are all open. So as long as they are in the box and wrapped or in a plastic bag, they are good. The sellers usually have multiple pics of the bearing itself.
