I have the Falcon stainless split header and the Falcon stainless Sport exhaust but was not happy with the stock mounting system. I decided to modify the install, primarily because the Falcon system hangs so low that doing a soft mount caused lots of tail dragging.
First, I decided to do a rigid mount, with no soft hangers. The down side to doing a rigid mount of any exhaust system is the system needs to expand, or something will give. Like the header or exhaust manifold failure. I chose some triple-walled stainless steel flex pipes that I had custom made to fit the Falcon pipes and cut a section out. These I joined with wide band clamps from Stainless Specialties. (I cannot find the name of the company that made the flex pipes for me. Sorry.)
I then welded a rigid sling under the frame to support the pipes midway and allow some sliding. Then I welded a cross brace behind the diff to add more support to the pipes and finally bolted a piece across the back of the frame to which I bolted the ends of the tips. I have had this in place for over 10K miles with no problems. You can see how the huge Falcon mufflers have taken a beating before.
Oh, and I insulated the flex pipes with fire-proof mat and aluminum heat shields to keep any oil off the hot pipes from the tranny. Yes, my tranny leaks oil. Isn't it supposed to?
