I missed the VRG Turkey Bowl at Summit Point (It's tough, since it's on Thanksgiving weekend).

But Travis Trussell sent out a link of the excellent pictures he took to the VRG mailing list.

That photo really documents the Elva's excess body lean, esp. on left-hand turns, and I am not even half way through the holidays yet!

About the only thing I hate more than turkey is left-over turkey and being able to go racing to boot is a blessing. VRG's Turkey Bowl was a wonderful event and I'm sorry you could not be there.

I didn't make it this year. My Triumph club had a meeting on Saturday and I had to go. Ironically, the meeting was in Charles Town! But it took most of the day. Sunday was cold and wet and I stayed home. Sorry I missed Michael.

Can't wait until the Jefferson 500/Marlboro Reunion!

Wow,

Dry weather and the suns out in late November, you guys have all the luck. Most weekends after Halloween are usually always rain filled here in the NW. Our last event in September saw a pretty damp track.

My last race of the '08 season was a NASA event at the new NJ Motorsports Park where it poured off and on all day.

The Escort developed a fairly simple coolant leak towards the end of the day. It was so miserable out (and with no garage space to work indoors), I just packed it in for that event and put the car on the trailer early....and took pictures (see below).
