Mark your calendars now for the Watkins Glen Grand Prix Festival and enjoy the U.S. Vintage Grand Prix at Watkins Glen International. This year's featured marque is TRIUMPH. The first 100 cars to register get to do a lap of the race track!

That SVRA Watkins Glen Vintage a great event to watch, but as a racer, it's *so* expensive. And the amount of real track time they give is pretty lean.

Between the sprint and enduro event, <span style="text-decoration: underline">your entry fee is about $750</span> (plus another $100 if you don't pre-reg).

I ran the VRG vintage event at Watkins Glen last year and will run it this year as well (Oct 17-19). It's much less than half the cost of the SVRA event.
The car parade around the original course is neat, but you can drive around the original WG race course anytime you want...it's public roads.

Next weekend, we're going to the New Hampshire Vintage (which is a spectator event if anyone's interested). It's only $130 entry fee for three days and we get more track time than we'd ever use (plus open skid pad time as well).
Hopefully, there'll be some 1147 Spitfires for me to race.
