I started the wiring loom in earnest today. Committed by securing a a couple of engine bay wires, screwing down a ground wire, connecting the flasher unit, voltage stabilizer, and washer motor. Its simple stuff, but it tiook a while comming. On the cabin side, I connected the rear loom to the main loom. I blue taped the seat belt buzzer and indicator light wires for easier positioning. I began to place the main loom across the cowl wall, used one of the plastic loom holders ( it works great), hooked up the drivers door side courtesy switch, fabricated a couple of bullet to spade wire lengths that were needed. And when I began to tire of that, I test fitted a few carpet pieces. I was wondering if I would put in standard insulation pieces. The carpeting is cut for that fitment, and its pretty loosee without, so I will. The PO had given me a roll of insulation material that reportedly lost its way from a car plant somewhere in the midwest (?). I cant say for sure.....but its been 1 1/2 years now, and I wouldnt no how to check into it to verify. https://picasaweb.google.com/Minorsands/MGMidget1973#5383290836651495714
