Put on your thinking caps. Added a washer, thicker, at the top end of the jet chamber on the H1s I have. That effectively stoped the fuel leaks as the chamber is now tighter in the assembly. It also effectively shortened the jet tubes.

Now I can not get the idle below 1600. Do I drop the needles the same distance as the new washers thickness over and above the thickness of the old ones to get the needle to go into the jet all the way to the idle step portion???????

Seem reasonable to you folks??

Here Trevor, I think this will show things a little clearer.

Jack, I think what you say should work (i.e. lowering the needle same amount), that way everything is in relatively the same position, right?

There are more bits prone to leaking in there than I thought!! Any of the items from 14c thru 14i are suspect!

HS2 is a MUCH simpler unit!!

The "thicker" washer you replaced, Jack, is "g" or "h"?

"A" we will see, down to about 1200 RPM now. Will be happy at present with 1000. Going to borrow neighbors dwell meter for a different tac when he gets home from work.

Is that a "different direction", or "tachometer" Jack?
