-Spent a crazy amount of time installing the grill. Being a rechromed original I expected a better fit. It took lots of trial fitments and adjustments to get it all in there and centered.
-Got the correct valve cover blasted and painted today. I had been running a 1275 cover and hated the oil line being on the wrong side. The only down side is that this valve cover has been drilled at some point in its history for one of those billet aluminum oil breathers. I'll have to put it back on instead of the info plate thats supposed to be there.
-Installed a new pressure regulator on the 71 midget. I had 'borrowed' it for the bugeye earlier in the week. Man that things loud compared to the BE.
-Installed filters on the carbs. Looks nice with the polished dampers and bowls.
-Installed the passenger side carpet and front panels.
I still have lots to do, mostly final details and lots of cleaning but I think she'll be ready for next weekend!
