Just picked up engine.

Guy so backed up in work he was glad to see me.

I am going to break it down, all the way down and take the block, pipeing to the filter, and the block and crank back for a good boil out. Somehow we did not get it all the first time.

He will check bearing sizes after polishing crank, std. now, and we will see what is what. He said he will lightly hone the cylinders again. Only 200 miles on engine.

Then order gasket set, and all new bearings including cam.

Repaint all and assemble.

Guess I have a project after all. Hopefully it will go back tomorrow. No real time takeing hand work for him.

Have him remove the brass oil galley plugs and clean well, then tap for new plugs. Easy Peasy. 1/4 pipe.

Jack you might also take a piece if stiff copper electric wire and try and run through all the holes just to make sure they are clear. I try and do that as much as possible after cleaning just to check all the passages, you never know when cleaning might break something loose and it fall in and block something. Just for extra piece of mind.
