Shop secrets to avoid rapid car aging

In the effort to keep my car from aging or falling apart to fast I'm looking for suggestions on the following:
1. Treatment for rubber seals (would silicon spray help or hurt, how about glycerin)

2. Glue to hold rubber seal in place (the AutoZone stuff does nut hold up :-( )

3. Wax for hollow spaces like sills etc. (anyone heard about FERTAN)

4. Glue to repair veneer (how is regular wood glue with humid environments)

5. Paint to finish veneer.
Any recommendations on wood refinishing places?

Here's a few:

1. Aerospace 303 protectant (no silicone, gives UV protections and is good for rubber, soft plastics and vinyl).

2. 3M weatherstrip adhesive. (Get the black color not the yellow just because the black hides better is there is some extra showing)

3. Waxoyl is the only one that I keep hearing about. Fertan transparent wax sounds similar.

5. I'm sure others will have some good recommendations for clear veneer finishes.

HI John,
Where do you come up with all these tips?The article on veneer was pretty good.The one thing it left out, was how easy it is to replace the veneer.If the base peice of wood is good,and you have a router,replacing the veneer is really easy.
