How does the trip-reset cable detach out of the back of a TR6 speedo? Twist and pull? Screw?

Thanks!

Ever notice that there are many quick questions, but rarely ever, quick answers?

Don must have taken all of five minutes to get back to Julian. He's really dogging it on this one.

Great pic Don!! Worth a thousand words.

To detach just requires squeezing the plastic clips, and pulling. It was clear once I saw the photo.

Thanks everyone.

I thought that someone mentioned once that there was a retaining clip hidden in there?

I hope your not planning on using it again, you should have taken the unit apart, its got those springy plastic clips you must release from the inside, pulling and ripping will work but damage is likely just my imput cause I found out the hard way

I will be taking it apart. I prefer to remove all cables from the back of an instrument before taking it apart ....
