The repairs were pretty easy.
And luckily, I mostly hit one of those big (Sprite-sized) styrofoam safety blocks that NASCAR puts up in front of the barriers, so there was no frame damage.
I had a parts car that donated a front fender, door and rear fender.
The damaged rear fender had to be sawed off and I gas-welded the replacement on. That was the toughest part. It ain't pretty but it's a working racecar.
At this point, the front fenders are '63 and '79. The rear fenders are '67 and '78 /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/jester.gif
It also needed a new lower A-arm and front brake, but I had spares.
I ran the car at Summit Point three weeks later.
