Nope... I don't have any.

However, I'd like some photos if anybody cares to share. I want to use them as reference for a bit of artwork.

Thanks in advance,

what a gruesome request. i'm trying to bring one back to life. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif

Ah...
Good one.
Unfortunately, the sprite is obscured by a large chunk of steel.

Thanks.

Actually, I was thinking it was just a large hood ornament... /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/devilgrin.gif

Ouuuuuch! I'd like to hear the story on THAT one!!
"I was just backing up and couldn't see under the fins"?
That LBC sure raised that lead-sled off its wheels!!
Reminds me of a Great Dane mounting a chihaua!

Where did the pic from last year go where the Bugeye was rearended.

Some of the guys who've been here a while have seen this one before.

I did it a few years ago at Watkins Glen. Spun on oil and hit one of the Giant Blue Walls.

Oh god, you mushed the whole side in. That looks expensive. That fender and hood and back end are a gonner.

The repairs were pretty easy.
And luckily, I mostly hit one of those big (Sprite-sized) styrofoam safety blocks that NASCAR puts up in front of the barriers, so there was no frame damage.

I had a parts car that donated a front fender, door and rear fender.
The damaged rear fender had to be sawed off and I gas-welded the replacement on. That was the toughest part. It ain't pretty but it's a working racecar.

At this point, the front fenders are '63 and '79. The rear fenders are '67 and '78 /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/jester.gif

It also needed a new lower A-arm and front brake, but I had spares.

I ran the car at Summit Point three weeks later.

Here's my horror story, brand new car, first race. This happen during qualifying, the car was on the pole for HP, but needless to say didn't make the race. These pictures still make me sick to my stomach.
