I've started looking around for someone to do the bodywork on the new Sprite, and it seems anyone with a good rep is booked solid until next year, so I wouldn't get it back til after Spridget 50 (not ideal). So I figured maybe a new shell from British Motor Heritage could be the answer. Primed and ready to go they set you back £3,800, but given the state of the existing shell it will be swings and roundabouts... However, looking at their website it seems they only do shells for post '67 Sprites, and my newbie is a '66.
Does anyone know how many changes there were between the 2 years, and if I'd be able to use it? I shall be calling BMH when I get a chance but it probably won't be til the end of next week at the earliest.
