Any of you fine folks in need of a BE dash recently professionally covered in Cherry Red vinyl.
When I had the dash recovered I grabbed one of two dashes I had (one original to AN5L9382 the other not) and took it to my friend who owns B-Rod and Customs in Knoxville to have his guy do the work. Came back from them perfectly covered. Got the gauges and switches installed and the dash mounted. Looked great.
Later in my restoration I was installing the radiator brackets and noticed that the one on the passenger side didn't have the holes to attach the windscreen washer bottle. Huh! Then I noticed for the first time that the top of the bulk head didn't have holes for the washer jets. I then pulled out my Heritage certificate and found no mention of a windscreen washer ever having been installed. So then to my old dash original to AN5L9382....no hole in the dash for a windscreen washer pump. The dash which is on the car has a nicely restored pump mounted.
I've thought about this for a few weeks and have decided that I'm way too anal not to recover the original and replace the dash. I've ordered the matching vinyl from AH Spares.
So, I will soon have an excellent BE dash available for sale. May likely have a windscreen washer pump as well. If interested in either or both send me a PM.
