This has been stored at my shop..crammed in the back of the body shop side for over two years. Belongs to a retired Air Firce gal who spent her entire 21 year career here at Cannon AFB..worked for me from early 82 until I retired in 88. anyhow, it sat and a few days ago we decided to uncover it, replace the master cyl. and bleed the brakes. Washed it, stuck a battery in and it fired right up. Has a stock 1600cc. dual port VW engine. Very light..will really go down the road. It got its name because it has a built in tow rig that slides up into the nose of the thing and is hidden. Reach under, pull a locking pin, slide it out and repin it...get a strong buddy and lift it onto the ball on the bumper of a tow vehicle. She putsd it back on the road today.
