TR6 Interest in TR6/250 Ansa exhaust

Hello all:

I've been following some discussions on Ansa exhaust for the 6 & 250 & apparently they do not make it anymore.

I'd like to take a pole on how many would be interested in a dual & single pipe system for these cars.

I don't know about you guys, but I had a dual system on my 250 back in the late 70's & it sounded awesome & lasted forever.

I used to be a Foreign parts dealer & bought directly from Ansa in NY. I've been out of the buisiness for quite some time, but might be able to stir up some interest with them, even though it appears as though they have been bought out by Arvin meretor.

what say you?

Beware, the Ansa systems tend to be very loud. I had one on a '69 GT6 and it sounded like a drag racer. Very, very loud.

But, it did look good.

Gary--There is an ANSA interest poll also going on right now on the 6-Pack list. Yes, I would be interested if the price wasn't obscene ($500+). I have NOS ANSA's on my '72 TR6 now and adore the look and sound (not too loud to me, especially when compared to the currently available Monza setup). But I know they won't last forever being mild steel.

There appears to be some interest on Ansa's part to produce these quality units again. I say we all send an e-mail something along the lines below to keep them interested.

Would all of you please start a chain e-mail to any clubs to have the members send one to ANSA.

Here's a little paragraph we might send.

Dear Sirs:

It has come to our attention that Ansa is considering production of the Triumph
TR250/TR6 exhaust system you had offered in the 70's. As avid British car
enthusiasts we would be most pleased to be able to fit our vehicles with your
superbly crafted system. A number of us have had your system on our cars in the
past and were extremely please with the looks and performance they provided.

We would be very interested if you might consider producing the unit in the dual
and single pipe variant; possibly in stainless steel with the option of slanted
rear tips & straight rear tips.

Please feel free to contact any of our group & or clubs for any additional
information.

Thanking you in advance for your consideration of this request.
