Hi,
I just rebuilt the brake and clutch master cylinders. In the process while positioning my trouble light, I blew out one of the fuses in the main fuse box. I replaced it with what I thought was an acceptable spare. After stopping for the night, the fuel pump was running without the ignition switch on. I noticed the gas smell and pulled both fuses the next morning. The car starts and runs fine which I know has nothing to do with the fuses in the main fuse box. Why would the fuel pump have been running without the switch on? What are acceptable replacement fuses?
Thanks,
Chuck Keeler
