The TR8 has been running great, the weather was nice, and I decided to take off from work a bit early for a little run up the Columbia River Gorge. So what are you seeing through your Triumph's windscreen these days?

That's a beautiful drive! You're lucky to be able to do it anytime you like. But where do you stow your windsurfing gear?

Back in the day, when I had a roll bar on my TR4A, I would strap it to the windscreen and roll bar. That was an old-school board, about 12 feet long, not much shorter than the car!

Hi Darrell, here are a couple photos we took a year ago. Along the Columbia after leaving BC, in Auburn having diner on Puget Sound, sunset over the Sound.

Don, this is what I was looking at. We were visiting a cousin that lives on the west side of Auburn in a hilly area with roads that twist around and don't seem to go anywhere. Because of the trees and hills there were no neighbors visible from her place even though there were some that were close by. It was so far back that they had to have daylight pumped in. It didn't seem that far from her place to where we ate and took the photos. Although we did have to take several different streets. The restaurant (Salty's) where we ate was built out over the Sound and had a public pier nearby.

Wasn't quite as nice today, but still had the top down. As long as you don't slow down, you keep pretty dry.

Went for a 45 mile drive last Friday with a friend to go to dinner, he had done a fresh engine rebuild and paint job and other needed bits on his Jag XK150, he wanted me to follow on the maiden highway voyage, the sight, sound, and yes, even the smells were pretty enjoyable. Sorry, didn't take any pics
