TR2/3/3A TR3 Brake Disk

I've been seeing on the web a Brembo brake disk that is supposed to fit the following.
Description: Front
For Vehicle: 1953 - 1967 Triumph TR-2/3/4/4A (Engine: 2.0&2.1)
Brand: Brembo

What is the difference between the 11" disk and the 10.75" disk. Can you use the new disk on the older cars?
There is a huge cost savings if you can.

P.S. What is the minumn thickness the old ones can be turned to.

I have 10 3/4" rotors on my TR3 that originally had 11" discs. I also changed the calipers to the four piston Toyotas, so I don't know how well the original pads would line up on the smaller rotor. They may stick up past the disc. It's only an 1/8" difference at the edge, which is about what the rust ridge is, so it may work out. I suppose you could install the later calipers that go with the smaller rotors.

I don't have my manual with me for the thickness, but I do remember the haynes manual does say how much can be REMOVED from the rotor. You will have to look that number up but I do remember that the new thickness of the rotor is 0.500 inch. if I had to guess my memory says it was 0.040 inch that could be removed but please double check that. I know mine came out 0.006 inch below that value and that was 20 years ago and they have been fine since (though I don't dirve it every day).
