Steering Rack, harder turning Left than Right -

I finally got Bugsy's Front Suspension completed yesterday, all is back together but wheels are still off of the ground. I notice a definite difference in turning the steering wheel as turns to the right can be done with one finger while turns to the left especially when getting close to full left lock take a lot of effort to accomplish. Before I try this one for a test drive and discover I can't turn left under load I need some advice on how to fix:

1) Kingpin nuts turned down so there was free play L/R but zero up down movement on spindle.
2) Tried to make sure steering arm bolts were tightened equally so steering arm was not cocked or not sitting square against the spindle.
3) Trunnions were fitted same as shown as in MOSS catalog. Unless Drawing is wrong they should be on correctly
4) 1 fingers pressure to go to the right, a full hand to go to the left especially when approaching full lock.

Thoughts to try
1) Back off kingpin nuts one flat, one side only or both sides.
2)

2) Loosen steering arm bolts and retighten.
3) Put Bugsy on the ground ands take a test run to get suspension to settle in and make sure seat belt is on tight as I approach a left hand turn.

Thoughts from the list, supposed to be warm enough to start Bugsy today and take him for a spin. It's been a long time since October and I want to hear Vroom, Vroom again.

When I had the DS fully assembled I could move easily lock to lock with minimal pressure on the brake rotor. It's when I put both side on that I am getting this additonal hesitation. Could be it will settle in once I get weight on it and off of the jack stands. I'll check the DS tie rod end as I started to take off the nut where the steering rack attaches.

OK Loosened up Tie Rod End End and that seemed to relieve the pressure. Retightened and replaced cotter pin which I had forgotten to put in and now pressure seems like I can live with it. Time to plug in the batrery charge and see if Bugsy will crank over and start.

Jim, the nut on top of the king pins should be tight with shims under the trunnion to give you the correct clearance. Put some 90wt in your steering rack and see if theres a difference.

Kurt.
