Need a part

I am breaking this down if any of you all need a small used part let me know.

If I don't need it, or not worth selling I will send it to you for postage.Hopefully will be done with taking the car apart next week and take body to scrap yard. All body parts are very rusty.

I have 95% of all stainless (?), it is missing the cowl trim on pasenger side. The right rear piece has slight bow at tip. this includes the hood trim. also have two grilles and center badges. I have removed all trim except hood piece and I am soaking it in blaster before trying to remove. I thought about using trim on my $500 Midget. but not sure, do you need that piece ?

tailight and housing have been removed, lenses good, can be buffed, cut wires 20 inches or so from pigtails, front turn signals I have not removed yet but should be able to pull complete. trim rings I needed and could not save. I will be off internet till Tuesday but will send you photos then

bumper is straight with bumperettes, I think it is a two spoke steering wheel, it has a a steering wheel cover on it, will pull and send photos Tuesday. I needed seats but they were trash

I am needing the Door Check Strap hardware. I just need one set of the metal bracket, and retainer. I checked on the MOSS web-site and the part numbers are #240-805 for the Bracket, and 240-815 for the retainer. I was planning an order to MOSS, but if you have what I need, I'll send you some $$ and what I save on this I can spend more at MOSS.

I'm redoing the dash on mine ('63 Midget), are any/all the switches worth saving? Only one of my dash switches in OEM and I'd sure like to put it back to rights. How's the side moulding/hood chrome? I have a set but mine aren't that great.

Y'know, Bryan, there ARE air bases in places like down here in Florida... I'm whinin' about it bein' in th' mid-30's. :smirk:

Doc, we originally stayed up here after the AF because of the schools, low crime ect, but the winters are becoming a PITA. We have recently began discussing the possibility of relocating to somewhere with "better" weather. So far we like the thought of extreme southern Utah or SW Colorado. The main thing keeping us here right now is the kids/grandkids.. I'm planning on winning the lottery real soon here so I can pack up the whole bunch and take over some little high desert town somewhere...
