Cover for change speed leaver seat AH Part # 2A3339

This is the plate that holds the shift lever in on a smooth case tranny, think it is the same item on a rib case. Three bolts and the round part of the shift lever rubs against it.

Mine is very worn, I mean extreamly so.

If you have an extra in good condition I would be very intrested and Miss Agatha even more so.

Jack, I'll check tomorrow, if you haven't found one by then. I've got three or four smooth case trannies, but don't know if any of them still have the plate on them.

Yep is same part factory number for all smooth case and rib case trannys.

I just wonder if this is my sticking second gear problem man is this part bad darn near worn through and one corner is almost gone.

Sure hope so Jeff. He says he has some and won't break up a set.

When I get this changed I will post a pic of the old one. Not sure how I forgot this but I did till last evening when it hit me I had this peice of junk in there.

And that is why I quote such a high price for her when asked. So many have helped and selling her would be like a slap in the face.
