On my BJ7 healey i have twin HS6 carbs, however one on the bodies (the front carb near the rad) has different bolt holes in it where the air cleaners attach. Basically instead of the two 9mm holes either side that you put a bolt through it has 7mm (approx) threaded holes and also a single unthreaded hole at the bottom, this carb body has AUD 9 stamped on it whereas the other body has AUC 8490 stamped on it.
Can i just drill out these threaded holes so that the studs will go through to bolt the air cleaner on, or have a got a non standard body ??
