Guys,
I need some advice on front shocks. Of the 2 pictured, any idea which is actually correct for a BJ7. The black one came out of my car. I bought the copper colored one is a spare with a lot of miscellaneous parts from a gentleman cleaning out spare parts after he sold his car (it was a 100-6).
The only difference that I see is that the lever on the copper colored one is shaped a little differently, and is about .375 longer. Also, generally when I see pictures of AH lever shocks, they look more like the copper colored shock.
The reason I ask, is that my car has negative camber on the driver side. Suspension components seem tight, much of it is new. Can't seem to find anything bent or loose.
The extra length would help improve my geometry.
The only glitch......passenger shock looks like the black one. Also, no camber issue.
Any thoughts appreciated, Hope everyone is having a great holiday season!
